Frances is the wife of Floyd Smith Sr. and daughter of the late Armond and Ruth Boykins (Sr). Frances is a resident of
Chesapeake, Virginia. She was educated at Southampton County Training School, Courtland, Virginia. Frances was a member of First Baptist Church Courtland and a former member of
The Way of Truth COGIC. She retired from Norfolk Community Hospital after 25 years of service as an admitting clerk. Her memories are
cherished by her husband, one daughter, Frieda L. Smith-Hunter and one son, Floyd Smith Jr. and three sisters: Adelaide B. Gilliam,
Virginia Hill, Shirley Ford and three brothers: Willie Boykins, Robert Boykins, and Armond Boykins Jr. and three grandchildren, Chance L. Hunter,
Lamont J. Williams II and Khaleb Smith. She is united in Heaven with her son Kenneth Smith and brother William "Buba' Boykins.
