2. Granddaughter of Henry "Buck" Darden (Circa May 1845 - October 16, 1911) and Marcella Whitehead Darden (Circa 1843 - May 27, 1910) of Courtland, Virginia.

3. Great Granddaughter of Jacob Darden and Hannah Scarborough and Great Granddaughter of Saml Brown and Clara Whitehead all of Southampton County Virginia.

4. Great Great Granddaughter of Elpener Whitfield (July 18, 1867 - June 20, 1937) and Clara Hargrave (Circa - 1902) and Great Great Granddaughter of John William Whitfield and Louis Agnes Joyner all of Southampton County, Virginia.

5. Great Great Great Granddaughter of Robert Hargrave (Circa 1838) and Emma Brown (Circa 1850 - October 7, 1886).

Catherine was married to the late Johnny Johnson. Catherine enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and making clothes, a family tradition. She was a member of The Helping Hand Club. Her memories are cherished by her five living children: Magdeline Johnson-Hamilton, Elaine Johnson, Melvin R. Johnson, Christopher C. Johnson and Forrest A. Johnson. She is united in Heaven with four of her childern: Winston D. Johnson, Cynthia Johnson-McKenny, David T. Johnson and Raymond L. Johnson.
